About the Role
Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Professional to join our team as a Technical Representative. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a technical background who is adept at building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and providing solutions to meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing sectors. Engage in cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to build a pipeline of prospects.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage your MEP knowledge to present and explain product features, benefits, and solutions effectively to clients. Offer technical guidance and recommendations tailored to clients' needs and specifications.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct on-site and virtual sales presentations to clients, showcasing MEP products, systems, and services. Provide demonstrations and answer technical inquiries to facilitate the sales process.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. Act as the main point of contact for technical inquiries and post-sale support.
- Proposal and Contract Management: Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotations, including pricing, product information, and technical specifications. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements in line with company policies and objectives.
- Market Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the MEP field to identify sales opportunities and provide clients with the latest, most relevant solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product development, and project management teams to ensure alignment on client requirements, technical specifications, and project timelines.
