Kaiser Transport, Inc is in search of a driven and highly skilled professional to fill the role of Billing Representative. This position will report directly to the Accounting & Finance Manager and will encompass the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of freight billing using Truck Mate and vector software
  • Thorough auditing of all freight bills prior to billing within Truck Mate vector software
  • Utilization of third-party invoice billing system portals
  • Communication with drivers and freight carriers to obtain necessary documentation for loads, including Proof-of-Delivery and invoices
  • Management of proof-of-delivery requests
  • Resolution of billing discrepancies
  • Reconciliation of client accounts as required
  • Exemplary customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency, particularly with MS Office applications
  • Collaborative mindset with a solid understanding of automated systems
  • Proficient in managing and maintaining a customer database

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience with Truck Mate and vector business software
  • 1 year of experience in the transportation or logistics sector
  • 1 year of experience with ERP or billing software systems

Work Schedule: Must be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
