Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Conduct daily inspections of conveyor systems, shipping, and packing equipment areas to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
- Maintain accountability for assigned equipment and associated gear list, reducing loss, damage, and defects to zero.
- Complete repair orders and maintain parts usage records to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Address mechanical and electrical problems, including visual inspections, testing, and evaluation of components, equipment, and circuits.
- Follow company procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- At least 36 months of previous facility maintenance experience.
- Strong electrical experience or understanding, including knowledge of 24v AC/DC control circuits, 120v power & control circuits, and 277v-480v power circuits.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work at heights up to 35 feet above floor level.
- Manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work at ground level and climb ladders.
- Curiosity about math, electricity, shop mechanics, electric motors, and appliances.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work well under stress.
- Ability to communicate effectively and make sound decisions.
- Proactive problem-solving and mechanical proficiency skills.
- Ability and willingness to train others.
- Able to work nights, weekends, and overtime.
