Seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Austin, Texas. This 13-week contract position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

About the Job:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will provide technical assistance to the IR team and perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts
  • Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Maintain sterile field and interpret diagnostic data
  • Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner
  • Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly

Requirements:

  • Current License in good standing
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
  • Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred
