Job Summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Imaging team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures, taking radiographs, and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role
  • Perform prescribed CT scans, demonstrating knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT scan equipment.
  • Document patient information and relay relevant details to physicians.
  • Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize risk to patients, self, and others.
  • Participate in rotating call schedules and perform tasks in other areas of the department as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
  • One to two years of experience performing CT procedures, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and post-primary certification in Computed Tomography within six months of hire.
