Registered Nurse/Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse/Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Methodist Richardson Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse/Mental Health Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse/Mental Health Specialist will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). This includes directing and supervising other assigned team members and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

- Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment.
- Be accountable for your performance and take initiative for your professional growth.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification.
- Current additional certifications as required by department.
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
- At least 6 months RN experience.
