Restaurant General Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at The Maybourne Beverly Hills Hotel.

Job Summary:

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a strong online presence through social media and review platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Manage employee recruitment, training, development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, identifying opportunities for growth and development within the team.
  • Drive operational efficiency, service quality, and guest satisfaction by analyzing data and implementing actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager (2-3 years minimum).
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front and back of house.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in using restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
