Tenure Track Position in Artificial Intelligence

The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor in the Information, Risk, and Operations Management (IROM) department. We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to high-quality research and teaching, and who can contribute to our undergraduate and graduate courses in business analytics and applied AI.
Research FocusWe are particularly interested in candidates conducting rigorous, data-driven research in machine learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) within a specific business or use context to solve pressing problems or create new opportunities. Application areas include digital platforms, operations and supply chain management, retail, sustainability, societal issues, and public policy.
QualificationsSuccessful candidates must have a Ph.D. prior to the start date in a related contextual or methodological field, aligned with the focus of the three related groups - Information Systems, Operations Management, and Decision Sciences - within the IROM department.
