Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify potential skin issues and develop effective treatment plans.
- Implement preventative measures to prevent skin breakdown and promote wound healing.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective communication of patient needs and treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on wound care and management.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current, valid LPN or RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
