We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our team at Advanced Radiology Consultants. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating complex CT equipment, performing diagnostic exams, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners with exceptional competence, selecting and establishing technical factors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
- Work with IT and engineering teams to ensure efficient operation of CT equipment and software.
- Monitor CT system performance, identify service needs, and schedule maintenance with vendors.
- Communicate with referring physicians, obtain agreements, and ensure delivery of images according to protocols.
- Screen patients according to contrast guidelines, receive and analyze requests for radiologic CT exams, and recommend action to physicians.
- Actively seek and utilize feedback from managers, technologists, and physicians to improve operations and service.
- Promote a professional, responsible, and courteous environment, demonstrating respect and regard for patients, family, visitors, and employees.
- Foster effective working relationships, collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect through effective communication and commitment to everyone's success.
- Superior knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT technology, and procedures, including 3D reconstruction.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and exceptional customer service.
- Extensive computer background with strong application understanding, especially RIS/PACS software knowledge.
- Strong desire to learn and eager to take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
