Job Summary

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, reviews necessary documentation, and performs related clinical and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient satisfaction and needs.
  • Operate radiographic equipment with knowledge and skill.
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
  • Review necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform preventative visual and manual inspections for radiographic rooms and equipment.
  • Perform related clinical and clerical duties associated with patient procedures.
  • Assist in managing radiographic procedures through resource coordination.
  • Perform warm-up calibration procedures for equipment readiness.
  • Contribute to a positive team climate and open communication.
  • Maintain certification and licensure through continuing education.

Requirements

  • College degree preferred; new graduates welcome.
  • ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required; reimbursement provided.
