Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Optomechanical Design team at KLA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical subassemblies, from requirements specification to feasibility studies, analysis, and FEA modeling.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop mechanical subassemblies, including conceptual and detailed design, and drawing using ProE.
- Procure and inspect prototype parts, assemble and test prototypes, and integrate systems.
- Analyze and optimize challenging mechanisms and optomechanical designs using FEA and experimental validation.
- Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals, including design principles, machine elements, materials, and fabrication methods.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and experience with CAD, preferably Pro Engineer.
- Beginner to expert-level experience in using FEA - structural, thermal, and CFD.
- Hands-on lab tests, automated data acquisition, and data analysis.
