Job Overview:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment at HSHS facilities. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting routine patrols to ensure safety and security.
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies as they arise.
  • Monitoring surveillance equipment and reporting any suspicious activities.
  • Providing assistance to patients and visitors as needed.

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $2,500 available for this position.

Qualifications:

Education:

A High School Diploma or GED is required. Preferred candidates will have completed college-level coursework in security-related fields, such as law enforcement or loss prevention.

Experience:

Ideal candidates will possess knowledge of private security operations, which can be gained through education or relevant work experience, including military or public safety roles. Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, along with good physical health to perform the demanding tasks associated with this position. Willingness to pursue additional training as necessary is also required.

Certifications:

A valid state driver's license is mandatory, and candidates must be insurable to operate hospital vehicles.
