Business Continuity Program Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Continuity Program Director to lead our Enterprise-wide BC program. As a key resource, you will be responsible for management, oversight, implementation, and ongoing administration of the program.
The ideal candidate will have significant subject matter expertise in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, and/or Business Resiliency. A Bachelor's degree in MIS, IT, Information Security, Risk Management, or related field is required, with 7-10 years of recent experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Business Continuity Policies, Standards, Procedures, Program Framework, tools, and templates as the Subject Matter Expert.
- Serve as a key member of the Business Continuity Steering Committee, providing updates on program maturity, metrics, and risk.
- Develop and maintain a 3-year roadmap for the Business BC Program, working closely with the IT GRC Director, CISO, and BC Steering Committee.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders and staff to train BC business stakeholders and facilitate completion of all business requirements, including Business Impact Analysis, Business Process Analysis, Business Continuity Plan Development, and Testing/Exercising of plans.
- Educate business partners on Risk Management in contingency and recovery planning, preparedness for operational risks, and scenario-based incident planning.
- Work with the Disaster Recovery team to identify business uptime requirements and provide input on infrastructure capabilities for recovery strategies and gap identification.
- Monitor BC Program compliance, identify risks, and improve enterprise preparedness for events/incidents causing business disruption.
- Track identified BC issues and risks, including risk acceptances or remediation plans, in collaboration with the IT Risk Management Program lead.
- Maintain HITRUST certification by ensuring all Business Continuity requirements are met.
- Analyze data, build reports, and provide information to the security team and Nuvance Health Leadership for data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrate adherence to Nuvance Health Values and exhibit regular, reliable attendance.
