Security Training Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled Personnel Recovery Specialist to join our team at All Native Group. As a key member of our security training team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and presenting training courses on personnel recovery tactics, techniques, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and organization of personnel recovery training courses
- Facilitate operations-based exercises and discussion-based exercises to support international security programs
- Review and analyze training objectives, lesson plans, and instructional methods to ensure effectiveness
- Plan, prepare, and organize course materials for presentation to students
- Evaluate training organization and implementation to ensure objectives and standards are met
- Continually assess and ensure exams and exercises are effective in enabling students to meet or exceed course standards and objectives
- Participate in curriculum revision and development to ensure currency and relevance
- Assist instructors in other security-related subjects and provide subject matter expertise on personnel recovery tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Conduct operations risk management and provide assistance in conducting practical exercises
- Ensure training records are submitted in a timely manner and assist with personnel recovery teams equipment inventory and maintenance
- Minimum five (5) years experience in managing and facilitating interagency discussion and operations-based exercises
- Minimum five (5) years instructor experience
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant hard skills tactics experience
- Must have a high school diploma; Bachelor's or Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Completion of a recognized instructor development training course preferred
- Advanced knowledge of security concepts, principles, and practices to provide basic and advanced training in the application of personnel recovery methods
- Advanced knowledge of security programs, operations, and techniques, including terrorism and anti-terrorism operations, use of force, civil liability, and appropriate techniques, tactics, and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of current protective security methods to provide instruction that is consistent with currently accepted methods and practices
- Familiarity with the functions, responsibilities, and duties of Foreign Service personnel preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of adult learning principles, course development, classroom and practical instructional presentation methods, and methods for evaluating training effectiveness
This is a full-time position that requires regular and recurring physical and mental exertion, long periods of standing, and irregular hours. The employee must be able to work effectively in an environment that consists of numerous personnel, use of non-lethal projectiles (firearms), air assets (helicopters), pyrotechnics, and fast-moving vehicles.
Security ClearanceMust be a US citizen and possess or be able to obtain/maintain a TOP SECRET clearance. Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access may be required.
