We are currently seeking an on-site Apple Support Technician. This role will focus on supporting the education sector and requires experience with Apple products and Google Chromebooks.

Compensation/Shift/Location:

  • $22/hour
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily technology operations, including network, email, and various software systems.
  • Provide support for macOS and macOS server environments, iOS devices, and Google Admin Console, with knowledge of VMware.
  • Install new desktop computers, servers, and related equipment (printers and peripherals).
  • Set up and troubleshoot interactive teaching solutions (boards & projectors).
  • Repair and replace malfunctioning computer equipment.
  • Create, maintain, and update necessary computer images.
  • Manage and upgrade networking equipment as needed.
  • Install and support software and updates as required.
  • Ensure appropriate physical security and control over all computer assets.
  • Maintain inventory records of all equipment (purchases, placements, repairs, and final dispositions).
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all computer-related equipment to facilitate timely troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Effective communication skills with employees and clients.
  • Ability to follow instructions in written, diagram, or oral form.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate proficiency in software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and JAMF.
