The Stockroom Clerk will play a vital role in overseeing inventory management and ensuring accurate stock levels. This position involves conducting cycle counts, managing safety stock, and coordinating reconciliation of all components. Due to the intricate nature of our products, extensive hands-on training will be provided, along with collaboration across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizing RF scanning technology to accurately document electronic component kits for distribution
- Distributing materials in alignment with specified work orders
- Performing regular physical inventory checks and addressing discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate records of stockroom inventory
- Assisting with the handling of materials in designated storage areas
- Reporting any defective items identified within the stockroom
- Participating in cross-training opportunities within the Shipping and Receiving department
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of inventory control practices
- Familiarity with computerized inventory and ERP systems
- Proficient in the use of RF scanning devices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adhere to instructions
- Forklift operation experience is advantageous, but not mandatory
