Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings.
  • Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians or advanced practice providers.
  • Document resident interactions, outcomes, and care provided.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
