Position: Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee various construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction management, particularly in leading teams and ensuring project success.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Coordinating and managing all aspects of the projects under your supervision.
  • Scheduling work and ensuring adherence to construction quality standards, budget constraints, and overall project timelines.
  • Overseeing the procurement and coordination of materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Reviewing project documentation (contracts, budgets, drawings, and schedules) prior to the commencement of construction, and identifying any additional information required.
  • Communicating effectively with the management team regarding crew organization, material procurement, and resource allocation.
  • Approving timesheets, invoices, and daily reports for all assigned projects.
  • Managing project closeout processes and follow-up activities.
  • Liaising with design teams and clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Providing weekly progress updates to the project team and clients via email.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules using Gantt charts and other tools.
  • Ensuring that crews and subcontractors adhere to company policies and represent the organization appropriately.

Objectives:
Your primary goals will include maintaining high standards of quality control, adhering to project schedules and budgets, and fostering staff development at all levels. You will be expected to manage all aspects of project delivery to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.

Additional Information:
A company vehicle will be provided for work-related activities.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing residential construction projects. Proficiency in generating draft progress billings and proposals for additional work is essential. A degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, along with at least 5 years of landscape construction experience in New England and prior management experience. Relevant certifications or coursework in landscape construction are advantageous.
