The Providence Center for Weight Management at Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a skilled nurse practitioner or physician assistant with experience in Obesity Medicine to join their established team. The center offers Bariatric Surgery with comprehensive pre and post-operative patient-centered care.

  • Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
  • Competitive compensation package: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
  • A collaborative environment with experienced clinicians, including bariatric surgeons, dietitians, and psychologists
  • Opportunity to work with patients who require medical weight management and medication prescribing for obesity treatment

About the Role

This APC position provides main medical provider services to bariatric patients with multiple chronic conditions. You will be responsible for providing initial and ongoing assessments, diagnoses, and treatments in an outpatient clinic setting. Your expertise in Obesity Medicine will be valuable in this role.

Requirements

  • Experienced clinician preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
  • Experience with medical weight management and prescribing medication for obesity patients strongly preferred
