Job Summary

Mckesson is seeking a highly skilled Central Fill Production Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and organizing work assignments for employees, setting up and running production lines, and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage production workflow to meet daily goals and objectives
  • Facilitate daily team operations, ensuring timely completion of mail work
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues and concerns
  • Assist with general support of pharmacy operations as needed
  • Develop and implement new SOPs to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to resolve operational concerns
  • Plan and organize work assignments for employees to ensure optimal productivity
  • Perform warehouse operations, including order filling, replenishment, and receiving
  • Lead smaller work teams to drive continuous improvement and excellence
  • Ensure employees adhere to site security, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures
  • Provide performance feedback to supervisors, maintaining confidentiality at all times
  • Retrieve supplies needed to carry out work assignments
  • Provide training to peers as needed
  • Adhere to and promote the company's shared principles (ICARE & ILEAD)
  • Maintain effective communication across all functional lines
  • Provide peer support and mentoring to fellow employees, identifying training opportunities as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality when necessary
  • Assist in specialty tracking duties as needed
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of McKesson Central Fill processes, procedures, products, programs, services, mail processes, and inventory
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Good PC skills required
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Specialized knowledge/skills: Microsoft Office Applications, Enthusiastic and Positive Attitude, Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions, Prior training experience preferred, Proficient with GlobalShip shipping application, Great customer service skills
Working Conditions

Will work in all areas of the business, including office and production areas, which are temperature controlled.

Able to lift +30 lbs, perform order filling requirements if necessary, and stay on feet for a majority of shift.
