About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Penske. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and other vehicle systems
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to identify and resolve problems
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective repairs
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in automotive or diesel repair; ASE certification a plus
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
