Fury Motors South St. Paul is seeking a skilled Diesel Automotive Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diesel Automotive Technician to perform a variety of tasks, including diagnosing and repairing diesel automotive systems, communicating with customers and colleagues, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Diagnose problems with diesel automotive systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers to provide estimates and updates on repair status, and to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, and ensure that all repairs are performed to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • Certifications: ASE certification preferred.
  • Skills: B level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair; dexterity and hand-eye coordination; diesel mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment; basic computer competencies.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent customer service skills, positive and friendly attitude, ability to work in a dynamic environment, and ability to collaborate with other team members effectively.
