Job Title: Scenario Design Analyst (Operational Environment)

Seize the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Scenario Design Analyst (Operational Environment) at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a global technology and professional services company. In this role, you will tailor cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of our customer, the Joint Multinational Simulation Center - Indo Pacific.

As a Scenario Design Analyst (OE), you will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and refining scenarios for training or simulation-driven exercises. This role requires a robust combination of analytical, technical, and communication skills. You will develop engaging and complex scenarios that challenge the training audience, serve in a mentorship or observer/controller role when requested, and gather observations based on unit actions during the training event and provide input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, evaluate, and refine scenarios for training or simulation-driven exercises.
  • Develop engaging and complex scenarios that challenge the training audience.
  • Serve in a mentorship or observer/controller role when requested.
  • Gather observations based on unit actions during the training event and provide input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs).
  • Maintain a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: BS/BA; U.S. Army MEL IV qualified or equivalent ILE.
  • Required Experience: Retired Field Grade Officer; 12+ years of related experience; Joint military experience preferred.
  • Required Technical Skills: Technical expertise in the Joint Event Life Cycle; demonstrated proficiency and understanding of MC systems; Superb knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP); strong technical writing at Div and above OPORDs; strong understanding of the Operational Environment utilizing DATE - Pacific.
  • Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Critical and strategic thinking; Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on JELC requirements and training objectives; Must be able to lead a planning team to create a high fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements.
