Job Summary

The Senior Truck Mechanic will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform timely and efficient repairs, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other heavy-duty equipment.
  • Work with minimal supervision, using independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and certifications, as well as industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a diesel technician or heavy equipment repair specialist.
  • ASE Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Certifications in at least 3 areas.
  • Master Certified in at least 1 Mack or Volvo Pro-Path Segment.
  • D.O.T. Inspection Certified.
  • Certified in at least one Cummins engine platform.
  • Certified in a Medium Duty (Hino, Mitsubishi, or Isuzu) vehicle.
  • Allison Transmission Certified.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to the waist and 25 pounds to the shoulder.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to pass a physical and drug and alcohol screens during pre-employment screening, randomly, and/or as requested throughout employment.
