Job Summary

Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct focused assessments and report changes to licensed healthcare providers
  • Participate in the development and modification of patient care plans
  • Implement delegated, ordered, or prescribed patient care interventions
  • Assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities delegated to certified medical assistants or unlicensed personnel
  • Provide safe and effective patient care, patient advocacy, and assistance with patient evaluation and interventions
  • Review and provide health care information to patients
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development

Requirements:

  • Current LPN Minnesota state license or current Medical Assistant certification/registration
  • Experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and maintain positive working relationships
  • BLS certification within two months of employment
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission, and values
  • Reliable and consistent attendance
