Job Summary

Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital, a part of Fairview Health Services, is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant - OB to provide high-quality patient care and service in our ambulatory healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct focused assessments, collect and compare data, and report changes to licensed healthcare providers.
  • Participate in the development and modification of patient health plans of care.
  • Implement patient care interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
  • Assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities delegated to certified medical assistants or unlicensed personnel.
  • Focus on patient care through safe and effective care, patient advocacy, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Provide health education to patients and review education materials.
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development.
Requirements
  • Current LPN Minnesota state license, current Medical Assistant certification or registration required.
  • Experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • BLS certification to be completed within two months of employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission, and values.
  • Maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
