Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care and service. This position requires a strong understanding of nursing standards and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct focused assessments to identify patient needs and report changes to licensed healthcare providers.
  • Participate in the development and modification of patient health plans of care.
  • Implement patient care interventions delegated, ordered, or prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
  • Assign and monitor nursing tasks or activities delegated to certified medical assistants or unlicensed personnel.
  • Focus on patient care through safe and effective care, patient advocacy, and collaboration with healthcare team members.

Requirements:

  • Current LPN Minnesota state license and current Medical Assistant certification or registration.
  • Experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • BLS certification to be completed within two months of employment.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital policies, vision, mission, and values.
