Assembly Worker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Worker to join our team at Dicor Corporation. As an Assembly Worker, you will be responsible for performing assembly operations to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and prepare materials and tools for assembly operations
  • Assemble components and parts using hand tools and equipment
  • Follow established guidelines and quality control standards to ensure accurate and efficient assembly
  • Inspect finished products for defects or errors and make necessary adjustments or repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Report any issues or concerns with the assembly process or materials to the supervisor
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Work Environment:

This job operates in a warehouse environment. The role routinely uses standard hand tools and may be exposed to noise from warehouse equipment and machinery.

Physical Demands:

The employee is frequently required to speak and listen. This position requires prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks; walking, as well as using hands and fingers to handle, feel, lift and assemble parts; reach with hands and arms. Requires excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be required to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, occasional overtime as necessary.
