About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Safe Fleet. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to assemble products accurately.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks, following established methods and procedures.
- Inspect and test parts and products as necessary, during or after assembly, to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to maintenance plans and established procedures.
- Cross-train to other departments as needed to support the team's goals.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.
Working Conditions:
The Assembly Technician role requires repetitive lifting of average weight objects, with occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.). The job may also require long periods of standing and above-average agility and dexterity.
Work Hours:
Expected to work 6AM-4:30PM, Monday-Thursday, with overtime on Friday/Saturday as needed. Work hours may vary with business needs.
