Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Spaulding Hospital - Boston and Cambridge. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and implementing life-sustaining techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough respiratory assessments for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate and timely results.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Provide respiratory care, evaluate its effectiveness, and modify as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient care documentation, adhering to established standards.
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and achieve shared goals.
  • Assess and address patient education needs, providing targeted education to promote self-care and wellness.

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current Massachusetts Respiratory Care License.
  • Basic and advanced respiratory skills, including BLS certification.
  • Computer proficiency, with experience in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain a variable work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
