Lead Respiratory Therapist

As a key member of our respiratory care team, the Lead Respiratory Therapist will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the growth and development of our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform respiratory procedures per established guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with the Point of Care RT supervisor to ensure daily lab maintenance, quality control, and staff support.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce length of stay.
• Provide education and training to new staff members and ensure they meet clinical competency requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and data logs, including tracheostomy data and patient outcomes.
• Work closely with the team to ensure adherence to protocols and policies, and to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
• Associate's degree in respiratory therapy or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current Massachusetts Respiratory Care License and Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required.
• Basic and advanced respiratory skills, including BLS certification and computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
