Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care through the administration of oxygen, medication, and aerosolized treatments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators, nebulizers, and inhalers.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare teams.
  • Assist with patient transports and transfers between departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • 12 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist I.
  • Associates degree in respiratory therapy or related field.
  • Respiratory Therapist License (Hawaii) and certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
