Cancer Treatment Services Nurse

The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the Carteret Health Care team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the Raab Clinic. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality nursing services, working closely with the Director of Cancer Treatment Services to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and mentor RNs, UCs, and other Patient Care Services Employees to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, ensuring effective communication and timely interventions.
Requirements
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
• Certification in Oncology or obtained within 2 years (required if caring for oncology patients and/or administering chemotherapy).
• Competency trained in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Administration or equivalent within 6 months after hire if administering chemotherapy.
• Two years medical/surgical or critical care experience.
