Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test computer vision algorithms and inspection systems hardware
  • Lead efforts to improve the accuracy and reliability of computer vision algorithms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inspection processes and improve quality control
  • Gather software feature requirements from internal business teams and customers to define scope of new features and create specifications and time estimates for implementation
  • Provide test data for benchmarking and analysis
  • Assist with moving software from development to production environment and bringing new applications to market
  • Conduct research to find new techniques for processing visual data, recognizing complex patterns, and integration of 3D imaging technologies
  • Create technical documentation for computer vision systems and stay current with technological advancements to improve existing systems

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in design of computer vision, image processing, and pattern recognition field
  • Strong background in computer science and data science
  • Experience in developing and implementing computer vision algorithms/software
  • Proficiency in image pattern recognition and machine learning techniques
  • Knowledge of geometry and/or robotics
  • Experience with Windows development tooling and software distribution
  • Experience in designing RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of SQL and best practices for database implementation
  • Advanced degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
  • Experience in manufacturing or machine vision inspection industry is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
