Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer II position is a key role in the manufacturing engineering series, focusing on Computer Engineering and Programming activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, debug, test, and maintain C# software tools and applications for automated hardware/firmware testing.
  • Interface with Test and Measurement Hardware using GPIB, TCP/IP, USB communication protocols.
  • Analyze pre-existing automated solutions for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Document software changes and revisions within GIT and SVN repositories.
  • Store and collect product defect reports within a SQL database for KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations such as OSHA, FDA, and ISO practices relative to equipment development, validation, and control.
Qualifications
  • BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 2+ years of relevant professional-level work experience.
  • Development Environments including MS Visual Studio with knowledge on C#, Java, Python, C/C++, or another Object-Oriented language.
  • Networking Protocols and Communication Formats such as TCP/IP, Client/Server communications: HTTP(s), JSON, XML, SSH, etc.
  • Embedded and Industrial Protocols such as RS-232, RS-485, UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Fieldbus, HART, I/O Link, etc.
  • Ability to understand and implement Engineering drawings according to company specifications.
