About the Role

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Radiologic Imaging (90%)
    • Screen patients before exams to ensure safety and accuracy, using two patient identifiers to verify correct patient and procedure.
    • Explain and prepare patients for radiologic imaging procedures, positioning them for optimal results.
    • Perform routine and advanced radiologic imaging procedures on designated body parts, providing patient support and comfort throughout the process.
    • Conduct mammography examinations to high-quality standards, serving patients and referring physicians.
    • Adjust scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques to ensure patient safety.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, customers, and colleagues, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
    • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers.
    • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use, ensuring optimal functionality.
    • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Radiologic Department Support (5%)
    • Assist in maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed.
    • Support the training of new associates, providing technical expertise and resources as applicable.
  • Additional Responsibilities (5%)
    • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
