Job Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Review production schedules, customer orders, and shipping documents to determine items to be moved or distributed.
  • Transport materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations.
  • Organize materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, or product code.
  • Fulfill requisitions and distribute items to production teams or assembly lines.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for shipping.
  • Label materials with identifying information.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers to access materials.
  • Record quantities of materials received or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly.
  • Utilize computer systems to maintain records.
  • Compile worksheets based on customer specifications.
  • Drive vehicles to transport stored items or pick up supplies.
  • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
