Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Meat Processing Specialist to join our team at Conagra Brands. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our production team by cross-training for all functions in the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate cartoners to ensure a continuous flow of product, and be responsible for metal detector and weight verification.
  • Set up and operate cartoning equipment, and maintain and troubleshoot potential problems.
  • Operate case packing equipment, and set up and operate casepacking equipment, maintaining and troubleshooting potential problems.
  • Receive and store all inbound materials, including bulk flour, cartons, packaging, and ingredients, as needed for production.
  • Ability to pass a test and attain a license to drive a pallet jack.
  • Perform required checks and record on paperwork.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, weigh ingredients, direct issue ingredients, start/stop batches on computer, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Be HACCP trained and KFC trained.
  • Set up, clean up, and maintain the area as required by SOP documents for plant sanitation.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly.
  • Keep any records or statistical charts required.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND WRITE IN ENGLISH.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE A PRE-EMPLOYMENT BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST.
