As a Commercial Litigation Attorney, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Advocating for clients throughout all phases of business disputes, including investigation, case evaluation, negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
  • Drafting and scrutinizing contracts and various legal documents, ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Conducting comprehensive legal research to remain informed on current legislation and interpreting laws for application in legal matters.

  • Overseeing all elements of the litigation process, including pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeals.

  • Working alongside a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the efficient management of legal processes.

Job Details

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, particularly in Contract Law.
  • Must hold a valid license to practice law in the state and be in good standing with the state bar.
  • Demonstrated success in managing litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Exceptional negotiation abilities with a focus on resolving disputes favorably for clients.
  • Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to think strategically and make sound legal decisions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize multiple tasks, and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
