Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist:

  • Prepare patients for various radiographic examinations
  • Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and oneself from radiation exposure
  • Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic machinery in accordance with established protocols
  • Select appropriate ionizing factors to ensure precise diagnostics
  • Position patients accurately and capture X-ray images as per physician requests
  • Maintain accurate records and conduct quality assurance checks
  • Clean, service, and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Order and manage inventory of necessary supplies

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology
  • One to three years of experience as an X-ray technologist
  • Preferred: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move, bend, lift, and demonstrate manual dexterity
  • Normal vision and coordination are essential

Work Environment:

Professional office atmosphere utilizing standard office equipment

Typical Work Schedule:

Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential variations in schedule
