We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic team at Brother Wolf Animal Rescue Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality animal care and support to our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with all aspects of surgery, including preparing animals for surgery, administering anesthetics, and monitoring recovery.
- Provide exceptional client communication and education on animal care and welfare.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe clinic environment.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure efficient operation of the clinic and high-quality animal care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- 2+ years of experience working with animals, preferably in a veterinary clinic or shelter setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
- Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
