Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at the ASPCA Spay/Neuter Alliance (ASNA). As a key member of our medical operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients and supporting the success of our high-volume spay/neuter programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional animal care and support throughout the patient's experience at ASNA
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and kennel assistants to ensure seamless medical operations
  • Participate in mentoring and training of visiting trainees and new staff members
  • Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, including cleaning, inventory, and organization
  • Perform daily medical duties, including assistance with surgeries, medical records, and patient care
Requirements
  • Associates degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent
  • Registered Veterinary Technician license in good standing
  • 1+ year of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
