This Senior Structural Engineering position presents a variety of engaging and challenging tasks in structural engineering, offering an excellent pathway for career progression. In this pivotal role, you will contribute in the following areas:
  • Utilize your expertise in materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design.
  • Engage in diverse projects for a range of clients.
  • Prepare and evaluate design calculations, create specifications and reports, and assist designers with drawing development.
  • Guide others in the production of engineering deliverables.
  • Conduct structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, and foundations using advanced computational tools.
  • Travel to client and vendor locations for design assessments and to construction sites for coordination and verification of designs.
Qualifications

We do not provide sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years of experience as part of a project team in the design and analysis of structures.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
  • Familiarity with design codes and standards including ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valued, but Not Required:
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in the design and analysis of power plant and/or industrial structures.
  • On-site construction support experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
