Construction Management Assistant

Job Summary:
The Construction Management Assistant will process internal consumer residential construction and commercial construction draws bank-wide. This role will assist customers with issues related to their construction draws and other file-related items. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lending policies, requirements, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in preparing new and existing draw requests
- Order inspections from third-party inspectors
- Order down-date endorsements from various title companies
- Review invoices and documentation to support draw requests, communicating issues to the Construction Management Supervisor for resolution
- Review, understand, and communicate issues regarding loan draw accuracy and correction of errors
- Initiate internal transfer requests and other miscellaneous advances
- Monitor and manage Builder's Risk ticklers for specified construction projects, working with the Construction Management Supervisor to ensure Builder's Risk Insurance policies are in place before vertical construction begins
- Monitor and manage the approved contractor's list
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Ability to perform on-site inspections occasionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deal tactfully and professionally with customers, associates, senior management, auditors, and regulators
- Good organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and strong attention to detail
- Effective time management and the ability to work independently in a team environment
- Ability to function in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality and professionalism
- Valid driver's license required, with the ability to travel to branch offices as needed
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge or experience with construction or real estate preferred
Computer and Software Skills:
- Skilled in operating a personal computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Land Gorilla experience helpful
- Salesforce
Additional Information:
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Some travel to other offices may be necessary to provide customer service coverage
- Flexibility in attending bank networking functions to represent the department as needed
