Accounts Payable Representative Job Summary

Bongards Creameries is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as our Accounts Payable Representative at our Corporate office. To be successful in this role, a candidate must have a keen attention to detail, flexibility, and an upbeat personality, as well as excel at building and maintaining business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Accounts Payable department to ensure invoices are paid timely, coded correctly, reconciled accurately, and in compliance.
  • Research and resolve issues with Purchase orders for automated processing.
  • Work with others both inside and outside the company to resolve issues.
  • Support 1099 data recording and reporting.
  • Review invoices for compliance with Minnesota and Tennessee sales tax laws.
  • Work closely with others to ensure Purchase orders are paid correctly and timely.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Business or Finance, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong sense of initiative, ownership, and responsibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team as an effective and positive collaborator.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and to appropriately prioritize workload.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • PDF Editor a plus.
  • Experience with outside invoice processing and payments.
  • Experience with Medius accounts payable processing a plus.
