Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Child and Youth Behavioral, Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) team at Fort Irwin, CA. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing non-medical support, including counseling, consultation, and outreach, to eligible faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth.

The position offers a unique opportunity to serve military families as they navigate the challenges of military life. You will work with children aged 0-5, before or after-school care centers for school-aged children, youth, and teens on educational activities and developmental focus. Your responsibilities will include observing, participating, and engaging in activities with children and youth, providing coaching, guidance, and support to staff and parents, and modeling behavior management techniques.

To be successful in this role, you must have a master's degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions and be licensed to practice at the independent level. Additionally, you must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a basic background check for employment and clearance. The salary range for this position is $55,250 - $99,875 per year, which includes federal holidays and eligibility to participate in the 401K retirement plan.
