We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Specialist to join our team at United States Cold Storage. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using industrial cleaning equipment.
- Dust and wash walls, ceilings, and light fixtures, and wash blinds.
- Move furniture, boxes, and equipment to clean areas, and remove stains from surfaces using cleaning solutions.
- Empty trash cans and clean kitchen, breakroom, office, bathroom, and locker areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned to maintain a clean and organized facility.
- High School Degree preferred.
- Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 70 pounds with assistance occasionally.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, use hands to handle objects, and speak and hear for safety and productivity.
- Ability to work in an atmosphere ranging from +70 to 0 degrees F with a moderate noise level.
- Good arithmetic and reading skills, and ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
