In 2016, we launched Studio Woven, an in-house designed collection that merges west coast innovation with eastern tradition, creating unique rugs for modern homes. Woven collaborates with top design firms across the nation, including many recognized in AD 100 and Elle Decor A-list.

Role Summary: We are in search of a driven and seasoned Operations Executive to enhance our B2B rug business and establish a robust foundation for growth. This role is pivotal in implementing key performance indicators, best practices, and strategies to ensure streamlined and effective operations throughout the organization. The Operations Executive will lead the warehouse operations team and oversee remote personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute operational processes and procedures that promote the efficient functioning of the business.
  • Utilize data analysis to guide decision-making and refine operational workflows.
  • Establish and track KPIs to assess business performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Work with luxury products, emphasizing operational excellence and enriching the customer experience.
  • Develop and apply best practices to optimize operations and minimize costs.
  • Supervise the warehouse team, focusing on receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Build and sustain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Recruit and oversee Operations Department Heads to align with strategic objectives.
  • Encourage leadership development within the operations team.
  • Adopt an innovative approach to address operational challenges, budget constraints, or employee concerns.
  • Meet regularly with the Executive team to discuss the progress of organizational strategies and address any procedural issues.
  • Collaborate with various divisions and departments to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
  • Identify training needs and ensure appropriate training is developed and delivered.
  • Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of managerial experience.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and budgeting.
  • High proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to set, monitor, and achieve quarterly and annual goals.
  • Experience in building and scaling teams and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
