Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the rehabilitation department, ensuring that our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of rehabilitation professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided by the rehabilitation department.
- Budget Management: Manage the department's budget, ensuring that we stay within budget guidelines while providing high-quality care to our residents.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive seamless care.
- Education: Master's degree in a related field, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathology.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist in the state of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in a rehabilitation setting, with a focus on geriatrics.
